We have rolled out support measures to stand with our customers during this financial challenging period to ensure that your long-term protection needs will not be affected during this time.

If you have an insurance policy with us, you may make use of the existing options available in your policy contract such as automatic premium loan, policy loan and the option to change your policy to a paid-up policy to help manage your cashflow needs during this period. We recommend that you contact your financial adviser representative who may advise you and discuss your specific needs so that you can better understand the implications on your policy if you choose to exercise any option, including if you choose to apply for our Premium Payment Deferment Support Programme.

 

Premium Payment Deferment Support Programme (the “Programme”)

Our customers may apply to defer premium payments for up to 180 days if they have policies with premium due dates between 1 October 2020 and 31 March 2021 so that they can remain insured during this financially challenging time if they meet the eligibility requirements.

As per LIA’s media release on 8 Mar 2021, there is no longer industry wide support scheme for customer who have financial difficulties.

We remain committed to helping our customers during this period. For customers whose policies were placed under the Premium Payment Deferment Support and remain unable to pay the deferred premiums in full at the end of their deferment period may contact us for further options available for them to pay the deferred premiums.
