Singapore, 18 September 2019 - Mr Zhu Lixin, Deputy General Manager of China Life Insurance Singapore, led his team to visit Mr Xiao Jianghua, Director of China Cultural Centre.

Mr Zhu Lixin introduced the internationalisation strategy of China Life and the company’s developmental progress in Singapore. He also shared about the company’s engagement in supporting charitable causes in Singapore.

Mr Xiao Jianghua said that he noted China Life Insurance Singapore has grown rapidly in Singapore within a mere four years’ span and the company has gained considerable recognition from the local community. He hopes that the two sides can work closer to promote significant Chinese cultural events to promote the uniqueness of Chinese culture. Both sides held in-depth exchanges on the upcoming 30th anniversary celebrations to mark the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore next year.

The China Cultural Centre was jointly inaugurated by China’s President Xi Jinping and Singapore’s Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong in November 2015. The China Cultural Centre is an important platform to deepen China-Singapore cultural exchanges, foster closer kinship amongst the Chinese community, and promote the "Going Out" of Chinese culture.
